Garena Free Fire is all set to update the game on December 7, 2020, with buff up M4A1 and P90, also the introduction of a new weapon- Akimbo Vector. One of the most downloaded games of 2019 Garena Free Fire which has won “Best Popular Vote Game” by Google Play Store in the same year of 2019 with a whopping number of 80 million users is back with new updates.
Many changes are being speculated to take place in the new update but players are most excited about the weapon rebalancing. The builders of my multiplay sport with new modifications are aiming to bolster the weapon’s stats so that it would be easily available but at the same time would also reduce the stats of another weapon to make everything more balanced.
Garena Free Fire has announced significant changes to happen in the classic M4A1 assault rifle in addition to changes in P90 SMG. New weapons will also be added to The Vector Akimbo and some important changes will be done in the M82B sniper rifle.

Free Fire: Updates to buff up M4A1
One of the statements of the official website reads as “The M4 has been underperforming due to its above-average recoil and a slower rate of fire. We will be giving the M4 a bit more power and range so it can be a bit more competitive. After the patch, the M4 should feel a little more stable and reliable in the medium to long-range.” So, from this statement, it is clear that the game is going to buff the stats of the M4A1 assault rifle.
The enhancement in the damage stats of the M4A1 is:
- Damage: 28->29
- Max recoil: 14%
- Rate of Fire: above 5%
- Effective Range: above 12.5%

Free Fire: Updates to buff up P90 SMG
Free fire’s close-quarter combat has P90 SMG as one of its most deadly weapons but its performance, when compared to the other SMGs, is not good so the buffs are made to the P90 SMG. The updated stats of P90 are as following:
- Recoil: around 11%
- Damage: 23->24%

Free Fire: Addition of new weapon- Vector Akimbo
This time there will be the addition of Vector Akimbo in the Classic and Clash squad mode of Free Fire which will enable the users to wield two vectors spontaneously. It is made with a short effective range but endures great power. The weapon stats of Vector Akimbo are:
- Damage: 22
- Rate of Fire: 0.08
- Magazine: 30
- Attachments: Muzzle, Stock
The M82B sniper with OB25 is also speculated to get new changes as previously it could be easily found by the players but they would have to put more effort to get their hands on this sniper.
