What Happened On Day 2 Of Valorant APAC 2022?

Valorant eSports has been trending all around the globe with the competitive scenario and the money put into the tournaments. Teams fight in their respective regions to compete in the world championship also known as Valorant Masters. APAC is also known as the Asia Pacific region consists of teams from East Asia such as China and Hong Kong; North Asia such as Russia; South Asia such as India and Pakistan; South East Asia such as Malaysia and Singapore; Oceana such as Australia and New Zealand. Esports teams from their respective regions have been victorious to compete in the second stage known as Valorant APAC. One of the most important aspects of a heavy viewership tournament is the casting and how the Casters act.

The casting has been a huge prop in the APAC. They have been unbiased in all region matches and have stuck to the game. The energy and positivity have been showered to the viewers and players. The chat has been positive both on Twitch and Youtube, which shows that the community is getting better in a way.

What Were The Results Of APAC Day 2?

Valorant APAC Day 2 witnessed another breathtaking Day with close matches and heartbreaks. There were 4 games played on Day 2 of the Valorant APAC Championship.

The first game was played between BOOM ESPORTS (ID) and NO NAMERS (MY&SG). Boom Esports defeated No Namers 13-6 and 13-8, winning the series 2-0. It was a dominant performance by Boom Esports from Indonesia. BME TEHBOTOL who played Astra was the MVP of the game.

The second game was played between PERSIJA ESPORTS (MY&SG) and FANCY UNITED ESPORTS (VN). Persija Esports defeated Fancy United Esports  13-5 and 13-9 to claim the series 2-0. The first game was dominated by Persija Esports whereas Fancy United Esports tried to give a tough fight in the second game.

The third game was played between XERIA (TH) and ONIC ESPORTS (ID). This was the most competitive game in this competition so far. With Onic Esports winning the first game 13-11 to taking a 10-2 lead in the second game, it looked like an easy win for Onic Esports. But the nerves played their role and XERIA came out on top clutching the second game 14-12 and winning the third game comfortably by 13-3. Xeria grabbed the series out of Onic Esports hand winning the series 2-1. XERIA FOXZ was named as the MVP for the match. Ewok from Onic Esports tweeted after the game:

The fourth game was played between FULL SENSE (TH) and SOUTH BUILT ESPORTS (PH). Full Sense defeated South Built Esports 13-9 and 13-8 to claim a straight 2-0 series win against South Built Esports in Group D. Jett main FS JOHNOLSEN was named as the MVP of the series for his dominant performance.

How Does The Table Stand After Day 2?

All group list

  • Group A: Boom Esports lead the table by +12 points, followed by Made in Thiland(+6). The bottom 2 consists of Cerberus Esports(-6) and No Namers(-12).
  • Group B: Persija Esports lead the table by +15 points, followed by Papa Rex(+12). Bottom 2 consists of Fancy United Esports(-12) and Bonkers(-15).
  • Group C: Xerxia leads the table by +10 points, followed by Bleed Esports(+4). Bottom 2 consists of NAOS Esports(-4) and ONIC Esports(-10).
  • Group D: Full Sense leads the table by +9 points, followed by Velocity Gaming(+6). Bottom 2 consists of Oblivion Force(-6) and South Built Esports(-9).

Every team still has a chance to finish in the top 2 of their group. 2 games are yet to be played in the group stage by each team, therefore it’s hard to predict the teams which will qualify for the next round.
