Reason

The Government of India has concerned itself with the safety hazards of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and as a result, has banned the game. Multiple reports show that BGMI illegally sourcing data from outside sources without prior notification or authorization.

In addition, these same reports also claim that Indian servers for the game were in direct communication with their Chinese counterparts. With evidence piling up, BGMI received a ban under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act which is included in the Constitution of India.

Krafton, the game’s developer and publisher in India, released a statement after the ban was announced in July. The business’ official statement emphasized data privacy and security said that they would work with the Indian government to resolve the problem. so that the game may be accessible in India again.
