It’s still unclear if the game BGMI has been suspended or not. However, many people are reporting that they cannot discover the game on the Google Play Store. This might indicate that the game has been removed from the shop.
According to official information from Google, the Battle Ground Mobile India game was prohibited in India by the federal government. It’s not yet known why the game was blocked, but more information will be provided as it becomes available.
BGMI Not Showing Up
Following an order from the Indian government, Google has removed the popular streaming service BGMI from its Play Store in India. After the Delhi High Court ordered Google to remove its app, which provided pirated material, it has done so.
Google already removed BGMI app long days ago. In 2017, it was removed for a similar reason. However, it appears that the service has devised a strategy to keep its app available to customers.
In response to a complaint filed by Zee Entertainment, the court order came in response to a lawsuit against BGMI for assisting copyright infringement. Zee claimed that the app was making it simple for users to get pirated material.
When it comes to removing content, Google has stated that it follows government instructions.
It was removed in 2017 for a similar reason. It looks, however, like the service has devised a method to keep its app live for users. Amazon was forced to remove the program from its Appstore in 2018.
Many people have been critical of the service because it is seen to be a haven for pirated material. It’s uncertain how the service will continue to function now that it has been removed from both Google and Amazon’s services. We have to wait for a few more days to get official information from the Government regarding the BGMI game back.
