Esports titles are joining the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam. The biggest SEA event is scheduled to be held at the end of 2021 in Vietnam.

After last month’s announcement, Esports had recognised as the title of the regular sport at Asian Games 2022. Now, esports titles are joining the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in Vietnam.

In a recent press conference, the Head of 31st Southeast Asian Games ‘Nguyen Ngoc Thien’ announced the list of esports titles at the event. The biggest Southeast Asian event is scheduled to be held at the end of 2021 in Vietnam.

According to the news published in Culture Newspaper, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien signed a decision. Indecision number 996/QD-BVHTTDL, the 31st SEA Games, will feature a total of 40 titles including esports titles. Some famous Mobile and PC games are on the list, such as PUBG Mobile, League of Legends. It is unethical if we do not mention the esports titles that will be taken place at the biggest sports event in Southeast Asia.

  • PUBG Mobile – (Solo Mode) – Open for All
  • Garena Free Fire (Mobile) – Open for All
  • League of Legends (PC) – Open for All
  • FIFA Online 4 – (PC-Teams) – Open for All
  • CrossFire (PC) – Open for All
  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Mobile-Squad) – Open for All

These are the Esports titles that will officially participate in the 31st Southeast Asia Games (SEA Games). Vietnam has an upper hand on League of Legends, and League of Legends Wild Rift, so there are chances for the Vietnamese teams/players to win medals for the country.
