VCT NA LCQ: Can The Gaurd Go All The Way? The Valorant Champions Tour 2022 NA LCQ kickstarted on the 4th of August. We are now just one day away to know the winner. The Gaurd has been extremely consistent and dominant in their matches so far. The Gaurd have played three matches so far and won all three. The team has now qualified for the all-important Grand Final tomorrow.
After defeating the Faze Clan in the Upper bracket finals, The Gaurd qualified for the Finals. The Gaurd clinched the first two rounds 13-5 and 13-7 in Haven and Icebox to wrap up the bout. The Gaurd now sit comfortably in the finals spot awaiting their opponent. It will be one of Faze Clan or 100 Thieves facing them in the Grand Finals.

The Gaurd in VCT 2022 NA LCQ So Far
The Team Started their campaign in one of the anticipated matches of the tournament. The Gaurd faced Sentinels and defeated them 2-1 in the Upper Quarter Finals. The Scoreline was 13-15 in Breeze, 13-10 in Ascent, and 15-13 in Icebox. The win resulted in their qualification to the Semi-Finals to face Cloud9. The Guard defeated Cloud9 by a 2-0 margin in straight matches. They won 13-9 in Fracture and 13-11 in Ascent. The win made them a tournament favorite and potential to go all the way.

And Finally, in the Upper Bracket Finals, they faced the inform team Faze Clan. The Gaurd defeated them 2-0 to reach the Grand Finals. Convincing performance in Haven and Icebox proved The Gaurd’s Team balance and coordination were on top. The Gaurd is now one win away to be crowned the winners of the NA Last Chance Qualifiers Tournament. A Win results in them joining Optic Gaming and Xset as NA Representatives for the Valorant Champions 2022.
