The Grand Finale of the first ever Battlegrounds Mobile India LAN event, BGMI Showdown 2022, wrapped up after six nail-biting matches. 7Sea Esports are the winners of the BGMI Showdown 2022. The Team grabbed the winning prize money of INR 5 lakhs. The team also qualified for PMWI 2022: Afterparty, which will be held from August 18 to 20.
7Sea Esports managed to get a mammoth 92 points in the Grand Finals. They racked up 41 finishes and two chicken dinners in six matches. Orangutan Gaming, who was in top form today, secured second place with 83 points.

BGMI Showdown Winners: Grand Finals Summary
The Champions accumulated two victories in this Grand final across the six matches. Orangutan, A Team on the Rise since the later part of the Group Stages were also on top form today. Orangutan also managed to get two chicken dinners to their name and finished second in the tournament. Underdogs Enigma gaming finished third with 65 points.
Teams that dominated the Group Stage like OR Esports, Hyderabad Hydras, and R Esports had a very poor outing in the Grand Finals. Perhaps, The Pressure had gotten to these teams. Skylightz Gaming and Hydra were the only other teams to get the victory today other than the Top 2 Teams.

- 7SEA ESPORTS won the prize for the Team with the most Finishes with 41 finishes: ₹50,000.00

- OG Driger from Team XO won the Longest Finish: ₹50,000.00
