Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has been absent from the Google Play Store and App Store’s app listings for around eight months now. The Indian government issued a soft ban on BGMI due to supposed safety and privacy concerns, and the digital app shops complied. The Indian gambling sector has been yearning for the prohibition to be removed ever since. Everyone, from players to esports content producers, is making assumptions about the potential comeback of BGMI. Nevertheless, according to a recent announcement made by numerous video game content producers, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) would be reinstated at the beginning of April.
BGMI Release Date 2023
A gamer by the name of “predatorsasuke” claimed to be employed by Google and provided the potential relaunch date for BGMI during a recent live broadcast of Pratik “Alpha Clasher” Jogiya. You’d be delighted to know that BGMI will go live on the Google Play Store on January 15; this is only a potential date, he stated.
Subsequently, in a different livestream by participant Sohail, “Hector” Shaikh responded to a query on the potential return of BGMI by stating, “The game is returning in January. This was said by a Google employee. While I don’t directly know it, I have heard about it.”
That individual holds a leadership position and is a significant member of the Google community. It makes no difference whether a member of the gaming community claims that the game will come back. The game would resume on January 15th, according to that individual,” he said. Hector requested everyone’s patience as he took some time to confirm the facts. He said that if the game was to return, he would let everyone know two weeks in advance.
It should be noted that neither Krafton nor Google has made any announcements or confirmations regarding the return of BGMI. Since the government banned BGMI in July, Krafton has consistently reassured gamers that it is coordinating with the authorities to bring the game back. Yet, there hasn’t been any news or notification regarding BGMI’s comeback to app stores as of yet.
