Uncertainty surrounds Battlegrounds Mobile India’s (BGMI) future as a result of the game’s exclusion from the Apple Store and Google Play Store for India. Battlegrounds Mobile India has been waiting for an update. Since its withdrawal from the virtual app shops in July 2022.
Tencent Games/Krafton released the PUBG Mobile version 2.2 update in September 2022. Then on November 15,they released the PUBG Mobile version 2.3. Battlegrounds Mobile India, on the other hand, is still using version 2.1. And has no expectations of receiving a new patch any time soon. However, a lot of fans have found download links or release dates for the 2.3 version. Therefore, whether BGMI will receive its 2.3 upgrades or not will be verified in the next section.
BGMI 2.3 Update
Some websites began offering download links. And also release dates for the BGMI 2.2 update as soon as PUBG Mobile received its 2.2.0 update. Naturally, the information in such stories was false. Because Krafton never officially announced the release of the version.
The launch date and download links for BGMI 2.3 have also started to surface in articles on numerous websites once more to increase clickthrough rates. Unfortunately, Battlegrounds Mobile India has not gotten any updates. Because it is not available on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Official News
Additionally, fans are advised not to hold out hope for the 2.3 version of Battlegrounds Mobile India to launch any time soon as Krafton has withheld all information regarding it. BGMI won’t get any updates, just like PUBG Mobile version 2.3, as long as Krafton’s side doesn’t respond, confirm, or make an announcement.
There is a small glimmer of optimism for Battlegrounds Mobile India fans among all the terrible news in the form of Krafton’s ongoing efforts to revive the game. It was confirmed by the South Korean company in one of its most recent news releases.
KRAFTON will keep investing in the Indian games business while working to restore services for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI). Fans should therefore keep holding out hope for BGMI’s return. They can, however, look at some excellent substitutes. Such as COD Mobile, Apex Legends Mobile, and New State Mobile (formerly PUBG New State).
BGMI update like PUBG
For the uninitiated, BGMI, Krafton’s equivalent to PUBG Mobile which was only available in India, met the same demise as its predecessor. On July 28, 2022, the Indian government’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) stopped the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India, which had been promoted as “India ka Battlegrounds” at the time.
The irony is that both the ban on PUBG Mobile and the removal of the title were motivated by concerns about data security and privacy. According to reports, the Battlegrounds Mobile servers in India were in direct or indirect contact with those in China.
It’s interesting to note that numerous reports have suggested that Battlegrounds Mobile India’s return would occur after 2022 or the beginning of 2023. However, specific information has not yet appeared.
