Stewie2K, better known as “Stewie” in the professional community, is one of the most accomplished Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players on Earth. However, it appears that he’s ready to move on. This is a significant development because Stewie2K is one of the best-known and most successful FPS gamers in the world.

After spending a week apart, former Evil Geniuses was removed from the team’s lineup on July 28 and has streamed Valorant since. He said that he will stream every day to improve his skill level.

Major Update On Valorant Plans

He revealed his plans to continue playing the game until he can compete in the professional Valorant scene. He has experience in both the Counter-Strike 1.6 and CS: GO games during his career. And also he first gained a following in the North American scene in 2015, when he helped lead Optic Gaming to ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2’s first place.

Since then, he has won multiple Majors with Cloud9 and Evil Geniuses, most recently winning ESL One Cologne 2019. He has now announced his intentions to try his hand at Valorant. He’s streamed the game almost every day for the past month. And even reached rank five on the North American server.

He will have his best chance of being signed by another team for the following pro season. And also he intends to play ranked ladder every day and participate in high and professional scrims as often as possible.

In 2023, Riot Games will begin franchising Valorant’s league system to boost the popularity of its competitive scene. This implies that only teams who join Riot as partners will allow participating in these leagues and international competitions.
