Three Groups of Eight Teams battled it out against each other in Six matches in the group stage. After an Eventful Day and Intense Six matches, We have to say that the Day Belonged to three teams who were on top of their game today.
OR Esports Finished first in the overall ranking Post match 6 with a massive 80 Points. Team XO and Hyderabad Hydras finished 2nd and 3rd respectively with 77 and 71 points each.
Let’s Look at the Insights of the Six Matches!
- The 1st Match to Kickstart the LAN Event Comprised of teams from Group A and Group B who Battled it out against each other in Erangel. Surprisingly, the Hyderabad Hydras Clinched the Victory in this 1st Match in a very impressive manner.
- Match 2 – Miramar had the Same Teams from Group A and Group B. OR Esports Claimed the Victory this time around with a 12 Kill win.
- The 3rd Match had Group B and Group C teams in Sanhok. OR Esports Reigned Supreme again with Back to back wins after the 3rd Match.
- Match 4 – Group B and Group C in Erangel. An Impressive Team Display helped the Hyderabad Hydras claim their second victory of the Day.
- Match 5 at Miramar had Teams From Group A and Group C. BGIS Champions Skylightz Gaming had a chicken dinner in the fifth match with an impressive Ten kills.
- The Final Match of the Day, Match 6 was very intense, where teams from Group A and Group C Faced each other in Erangel. Team INS Clinched the Final Match of the Day to the round of the Group Stages on Day 1 of BGMI Showdown 2022.
At the end of Day 1, BGMI Showdown 2022 OR Esports gained the top spot in the Overall Standings with Team XO and Hyderabad Hydras in the 2nd and 3rd Spot. Team INS Finished 8th and TSM Finished 12th in the Standings.
