On the 17th of July 2022, Krafton made an exciting announcement on their official social media handle regarding Battleground Mobile India’s first ever official LAN event. The BGMI Showdown 2022 will be an action-packed esports tournament starting today July 21st to July 24th. Unlike the Battleground Mobile India Masters Series, this event is a short 4 days tournament where 24 teams will battle it out to show their supremacy.

Prize Pool 

This nail-biting tournament will keep the fans on the edge of their seat, BGMI Showdown 2022 boasts a massive INR 15 Lakhs Prize Pool.

Participating Teams and Format 

The BGMI Showdown 2022 will feature 24 teams who will compete with each other in a round-robin format for 3 days. The top 16 teams finishing at the top of the overall leaderboard will compete in a one-day final. Below are the 24 teams split into three groups:

What’s at Stake in this LAN Event?

A massive prize pool of INR 15 Lakhs and a coveted Trophy are all at the stake for the BGMI Showdown 2022 but the important thing is a slot in the Week 2 of the upcoming PMWI 2022 are up for grabs. This will make this action-packed tournament more interesting and competitive.
