Acend is a young European team who won the Valorant Champions Tour Berlin 2021 defeating their regional rivals Gambit in a 3-2 series. They won millions of hearts being an underdog and coming out champions defeating all odds. They were dominant in the complete series with no flaws seen. Coming into VCT 2022, fans were very confident about Acend dominating the year for them and the EMEA region. But hearts broke when the team was disbanded in early 2022.
Rebuilt to conquer.

Acend have completed their Valorant roster with the signings of Vakaris “vakk” Bebravičius and Ondřej “MONSTEERR” Petrů, the European organization confirmed in an announcement today.
The duo replace Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets and Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi, both of whom were benched within two weeks of each other.
The reigning Valorant champions are coming off a disappointing run in VCT EMEA Stage 1, Where they notably failed to qualify for Stage 1 Masters Reykjavik. They finished in fifth place out of six teams in their group. After losses to Guild Esports, Fnatic, and BBL Esports.
The rebuilt roster represents a fresh start for the organization, which will be looking to reclaim its spot at the top of global Valorant.
Acend Add Vakk And MONSTEERR To Valorant Roster
Vakk joins Acend from Team Vitality, which recently parted ways with four of its players. Including the 21-year-old. The Lithuanian player spent most of 2021 competing in the VCT Europe qualifiers and helped his team to a first-place finish at the Open Tour France Main Event.
He will now step into the role of in-game leader, after the departure of BONECOLD.
MONSTEERR played for LDN UTD and Team Heretics, before joining Giants Gaming in January. He swaps places with Kiles, who was recently added to the Giants roster.
On Giants, MONSTEERR came close to qualifying for the VCT promotion tournament in the Valorant Regional League Spain: Rising. But fell short in the semifinals to Case Esports.

Acend Valorant roster
- Aleksander “Zeek” Zygmunt
- Vakaris “Vakk” Bebravičius
- Ondřej “MONSTEERR” Petrů
- Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek
- Patryk “Starxo” Kopczynski
The new roster will compete in the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Challengers group stage on May 13, alongside other top teams in Europe.
Will they be able to reclaim their dominance and regrow Acend fear in their opponents? We wish the best to all teams in VCT. All hopes are on Acend to represent the EMEA region at a global level because of the dip in performance of other teams. Because of the reputation the team holds, the new signings will have to pull up a huge load to regain the reputation. Vakk and Monsteerr hold huge reputations amongst themselves as players. But will they be able to add enough value to the roster?
