Bren Esports Valorant: What is The Issue?
Philippines-based team Bren esports were going to experience their first LAN event of Valorant. They were the top-seeded team from South East Asia. Furthermore, they won the Challengers playoffs of the SEA region and qualified for the tournament. They won the SEA Stage 3 by defeating Paper Rex in the finals.
Recently, in the Philippines, the new variant of Covid-19 hit the country. Moreover, the government is concerned and has made some strict rules. Considering that, Bren esports were not handed the visa for Valorant Champions Tour Masters in Berlin.
Securing visas for players is a concern for Riot. However, they posted their statement n Twitter and explained the issue. One of the other Southeast Asia players from team paper Rex faced the same issue. However, he managed to get the visa at the last minute.

What’s Next in VCT?
As being said, the Valorant Champions Tour will be now played with 15 teams. Earlier, there were four groups of four teams each. But now, Group D will have some changes. The rest of the three teams will play robin round playing 2 matches each, where the top 2 teams will qualify for the next round. Bren esports were placed in Group D of Valorant Champions Tour along with champions Sentinels, G2 esports, and south Korean team F4Q.
Furthermore, the SEA champions have now received 175 circuit points. Circuit points are points that decide the position of a team in the table of a region. The top teams with the most circuit points will play in VCT Champions. Also, Bren esports has will receive the prize money for qualifying in the Masters of the Valorant Champions Tour.
The tournament will kick off on 10th September where the winner will directly qualify for VCT Champions. Team Sentinels have already qualified by winning the VCT Iceland Masters.
