Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, released in 2019, is a first-person shooter video game. Infinity Ward is the developer, and Activision is the publisher. Setting out to be the sixteenth overall installment in the Call of Duty series. On October 25, 2019, the game became accessible for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The game is made to look very realistic, and the set looks modern. The story follows a CIA officer and British SAS forces as they both team up with rebels belonging to the fictional country known as Urzikstan, fighting together against Russian forces who have invaded the country. Modern Warfare’s Special Ops mode attributes cooperative play missions that follow up the campaign’s story.

In March, Activision tricked the fans by adding two new maps to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. These maps were of Al-Raab Airbase and Drainage but were taken down a week later. Well, now they’re back, and the developer is sure that they’re here to stay.

Arriving without fanfare alongside mid-season updates. Modern Warfare (2019), Black Ops – Cold War, and Warzone are bringing back the original Modern Warfare (2007) map Killhouse. Including the two brand-new maps.

Initially only available in private games. Infinity Ward quietly took down the maps a week later. They never mentioned that the maps would eventually come back once they’d been given “a bit more love.”

In the final analysis, the new maps came back in an update earlier today. Al-Raab Airbase has its own 24/7 playlist, whereas Drainage is there to be tried in Gunfight’s regular and Snipers Only playlists. It’s a small addition to a game that is largely on the back burner as Activision moves on with Cold War and Warzone.

The reintroduction of these maps changes the competitive dynamics significantly. Veterans are finding themselves at an advantage, while new players are experiencing the classic CoD pacing and map flow for the first time.
