Also, there is a number above the player card in Valorant now. So, what is it? And how to increase the number of account points in Valorant?
Why There is a Valorant Number Above The Player Card?
In the recent update, Valorant has added several new features and nerfed almost every agent of the game. Furthermore, the players can see a number above their player cards in the game. So, what’s it?
Valorant is celebrating their one-year anniversary and they have added some interesting features on this occasion. Therefore, Valorant has added a level number for players which will show up above the player card. A numeric level based on how much you play, which goes up the more time you put in. The more time a player spends on the game higher the level it goes.
Valorant quoted that they were keen to reward the loyalty of the players. So, those who will spend more time on the game will get higher rank and frames. Also, the frame changes and upgrades on every 20 levels.

The numeric digit shows how much your account level is. Moreover, players need 5,000 account points or AP to increase one level in Valorant. Also, here are some points on how to level up and get a good number above your player card in Valorant:
- Players will earn AP by playing matches.
- The amount of AP, players gain per match is based on the duration and results of the match.
- Players will also be rewarded a bonus AP for their first win of the day.
- AP only goes toward your Account Level and does not contribute to your Battlepass or Agent Contract XP.
Currently, Valorant has added the Account Points based on the past results and how much game a player has played. Players can check their AP by updating the game.
