The third Act of the Episode is coming to an end in few days. Valorant has teased the fans with a trailer revealing the look of the new agent KAYO and some of his abilities. Moreover, KAYO is going to be the 16th agent of Valorant and has 4 abilities like all the other agents.
What Are The Abilities of Valorant Agent KAYO
In the official description, Riot games introduced this new agent as a machine of war. Furthermore, the press release said, “KAY/O is a machine of war built for a single purpose: neutralizing radiants“. KAYO is robotic in nature and is an initiator.
Additionally, initiators are the agents who give an early edge to the team and information to attack or defend against them. Also, the new addition of an initiator will help players as this new Valorant Agent KAYO abilities look promising.
Let’s have a look at all the abilities of KAYO and how useful they can be in a match.
Abilities
- (E) ZERO/point

EQUIP a suppression blade. FIRE to throw. The blade sticks to the first surface it hits winds up and suppresses anyone in the radius of the explosion.
It means that the enemies will be unable to use their abilities in that area and will only rely on guns to fight.
2. (Q) FLASH/drive
It’s a type of flash which needs to equip and throw to use. The flash is a kind of grenade and it needs to cook before flashing. Also, right-click flash will take 1 second to cook, and the left-click needs 1.6 seconds to flashbang the enemies.
So, alike other initiators Valorant added the flashing abilities to the new agent KAYO.
3. (C) FRAG/ment

EQUIP and explosive fragment. FIRE to throw. The fragment sticks to the floor and explodes multiple times, dealing near-lethal damage at the center with each explosion. Moreover, it works like the molly of Killjoy, the difference here is it explodes multiple times and not for one time.
4. (X) Ultimate

INSTANTLY overload with polarized radiant energy that empowers KAY/O and causes large energy pulses to emit from his location. Enemies hit with these pulses are suppressed for a short duration.
Notable Mechanics
While Overloaded, KAY/O gains Combat Stim
If KAY/O is killed while overloaded, he is downed and enters a destabilized state, allowing allies to stabilize his core and revive him.
It means that any of his teammates in Valorant can revive KAYO if he is killed in his overloaded abilities.
