League of Legends EU Masters Spring 2021, also known as European Masters Spring 2021 is the seventh European Masters Tournament. For instance, it features 28 of the top European teams from the Spring regional leagues.

In League of Legends, there are two teams consisting of five players each. Subsequently, each team tries to occupy and defend their half of the map.

Meanwhile, there is a very high prize pool which brings huge excitement to the players. However, this league started on the 29th of March 2021 and will be going on till the 2nd of May.

Format Of European Masters Spring 

Most importantly, The EU Masters Spring 2021 is divided into many stages. The format is as follows:

Qualification

  • 28 teams from National Leagues will qualify for the event.
  • 12 teams qualify for Group Stage
  • 16 teams qualify for Play-In

Play – In Group Stage

Further, the dates of the Play-In Group Stage were from the 29th of March to the 30th of March.

  • Teams are slotted into groups of 4.
  • Double round-robin.
  • All matches are played in a Bo1.
  • Top 2 from each group advance to Knockout Stage.

Play – In Knockout Stage

In addition, this had begun on the 1st of April.

  • Teams are slotted into groups of 4.
  • Double round-robin.
  • All matches are played in a Bo1.
  • Top 2 from each group advance to Knockout Stage.

Group Stage

Certainly, the Group Stage began on the 14th of April and is still going on. It will end on the 23rd of April.

Consequently, the teams were being divided into four groups.

  • Double round-robin.
  • All matches are played in a Bo1.
  • The top two teams in each group advance to Playoffs.

Playoffs

Above all, the Playoffs begins on the 27th of April and we will get the winners by the 2nd of May.

  • Teams play in a single-elimination bracket.
  • Quarterfinals and Semifinals are Bo3.
  • Grand Final is Bo5.

Prize Pool

In conclusion, the total of €150,000 EUR which is equal to $180,663 USD is to be distributed amongst the teams in the League of Legends EU Masters Spring 2021.

The list of Prize money by rankings is as follows:

  • The Winners will get a Prize Money of €40,000.
  • Whereas, the Runner-up will be presented with a Prize Money of €25,000.
  • The 3rd team will get a Prize Money of €13,500.
  • Consequently, the 5th to 8th position holders will be awarded a prize of €8,000.
  • Along with that, the teams which end up on any position between 9th to 12th will get a Prize Money of €4,000.
  • Teams securing the 13th to 16th position will get a Prize Money of €2,500.
  • However, the other teams which finish in the rank above 17 will get no Prize Money.
