100T Valorant Roster Change: American organization 100 Thieves is all set to drop their in-game leader of Valorant Roster which is Steel. The team qualified for VCT Masters Berlin and finished 3rd-4th behind Envy and Gambit. 100 Thieves failed to qualify for the Valorant Champions directly and now they will be playing Last Chance qualifiers.
So, here are all the details and updates about the roster change and who will replace steel.
100T Valorant Roster Change: Why Steel Is Getting Dropped?
100 Thieves qualified for the Masters Berlin by finishing 2nd in the NA Challengers play-offs. At Berlin, the team showcased some great comebacks. 100T outplayed Gambit esports in the group stages by making one of the best comebacks of the Valorant. In another match against Acend, they made comeback to move forward in the tournament but only to lose against Envy.
Furthermore, 100T players like Asuna, nitro, and Hiko showcased their great skills at the LAN event. However, Steel was totally lost as he only managed to get his K/D ratio of 0.78. According to experts, 100T would have won the game against Envy if Steel performed well. Moreover, this is one of the reasons why 100T are forced to change their Valorant roster.
Nitro will replace Steel as the role of in-game leader.
Who Will Replace Steel at 100 Thieves?
Aaron “b0i” Thao is a substitute player for 100T. He was signed by Andbox in July. Now, it looks like finally, b0i will get a chance to play for 100T.
100T will be playing the North America Last Chance qualifiers to qualify for the Valorant Champions. However, 100T has not officially announced the roster change but they are likely to announce before Last Chance qualifiers.
100 Thieves are considered as one of the best teams in North America in Valorant. Furthermore, they have players like Asua, nitro and Hiko who are capable of turning the rounds in their favour. So, here is the expected roster of 100 Thieves for the upcoming LCQ:
