PUBG Mobile 3.9 Release Date: What To Expect And What’s New: So, the 3.9 beta already came out earlier in June, around the 6th or 7th or something. Android people can download it easily, but for iOS players, it’s more complicated and you need a TestFlight invite, which isn’t so simple. It’s gonna be released globally probably in July like they usually do. That’s if everything goes as planned, of course.
PUBG Mobile 3.9 Release Date And Transformers Mode
This update is mainly about a special mode, and yes, Transformers! There are robot things in Erangel now. You can change into a vehicle, like a tank or truck, and roam around the map like crazy. It feels very different than normal PUBG, kind of futuristic and cartoonish, but some players may like it. They did big changes in some map areas too, more mechanical looking and explosions happening often. Autobots and enemies fight there.
Hoverboard and Some Other Movement Stuff
In this version, a few new ways to move were added.
- The hoverboard lets you slide or glide kind of like floating, It’s good for getting away fast.
- Dirt bikes also came, they are fun and go fast even in bumpy places.
- In that new Transformers mode, some vehicles can change forms in the middle of a match, which is pretty wild, honestly.
People may not like these changes if they prefer the real type of gameplay, but it sure feels new.
Changes to Guns and Combat Features
They touched some weapons again. Not all, just balanced some damages and fire rates.
- The MG3 possibly comes to rank now, with two firing speed options – 660 or 990 RPM. Players will need to try them both and decide.
- Also, game menus and buttons have been a little updated. It looks better, but a few users say it lags sometimes on older phones. PUBG says it’s more optimized now, though.

Sunny Theme Stuff Too
There is a summer theme too, after the robot stuff. Some beach areas appear with water slides and what looks like vacation places. It makes the game feel light and a bit silly. There are also special outfits to match that. It’s more of a seasonal touch, not a serious gameplay thing.
Want Beta? Here’s How
To join beta, go to PUBG’s beta website and download the APK file. Choose the 32 or 64-bit version depending on what your phone is. iOS players, sadly, need an invitation. After playing, they want people to report bugs, but not everyone does that.
Final Thoughts
So basically, PUBG 3.9 is not just another regular patch. There’s a new robot mode, hoverboard, new bikes and few UI changes. Release probably in July if no delays. Maybe this update is not for every player, but it definitely shakes things up.
