Amazon has secretly launched the subscription service in India, despite rumours that it was intending to launch Prime Gaming there. Members of the gaming service, which will be bundled with Amazon Prime, will be able to access a range of games for mobile, PC, and Mac. Additionally, gamers will have access to in-game items such as weapons, characters, skins, boosters, and upgrades. According to the website, the service now offers titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, FIFA 23, League of Legends, and DeathLoop, among others.

Only eight full games are initially available for free, and they may only be redeemed for two weeks (other game subscriptions like PlayStation Plus work similarly, where a title can be claimed and be played as long as the user is still subscribed to the service). These games include Quake, Spinch, Desert Child, Brothers: A Tale of Two Suns, Banners of Ruin, Rose Riddle 2, The Amazing American Circus, and Doors: Paradox.

Across the weeks leading up to this launch, the corporation reportedly started testing the service in South Asia. Each month, the e-commerce business apparently adds a few additional titles to the service. Amazon announced “Blue Protocol,” a new massively multiplayer online (MMO) game with an anime design, at “The Game Awards” earlier this month. The game is set to be released in the second half of 2019.

Customers with an active Amazon Prime subscription enjoy the service for free. As one of the numerous benefits of Prime Gaming, users may claim and keep popular full-length PC games indefinitely. While foreign users may get a free month of the premiere by subscribing to their fave Twitch streamer, the service is not yet accessible in India.
