So announcements of their availability via Xbox Game Pass should be an exciting confirmation for those who subscribe. Xbox Director Phil Spencer’s Statement
Although Spencer did not mention the UK’s CMA, he said that Microsoft “will remain committed to working with regulators in a manner of transparency and openness while they look into the acquisition. Possibly this is in reply to the all-purpose investigation in addition to the decision made in CMA this week. This week, CMA says that this acquisition could lead to a “substantial decrease in competition in a market or market located in the United Kingdom.”
This ASPECT means that further investigation will be underway. Spencer ended the blog by calling gamers “robust and vibrant” and stating that Microsoft isn’t alone in its acquisition strategies.
