ScreaM Underestimating NA in Valorant Champions?

 

There is a piece of news spreading in the valorant community that ScreaM (Adil Benrlitom) from Team liquid does not consider NA one of the best regions in the valorant game in Valorant Champions 2022.

Recently Team Liquid qualified for four international Valorant tournaments, Playing against three North American teams during the tournaments. Team Liquid has a record of 2-1 against NA region teams, with their loss at VCT Masters in 2021 against Team Version1.

Then stating a statement about the NA region, along with their associated teams at the event. He said that he considers regions like APAC and EMEA against NA in the terminology of strength.

ScreaM Thoughts About NA Teams at Valorant Champions 

ScreaM stated two teams at Valorant Champions from the NA region in OpTic Gaming and 100 Thieves. OpTic Gaming has performed as a good team. He also said good things about 100 Thieves for the recent performance in the NA Last Chance Qualifier.

ScreaM said, “100 Thieves showed good performance in LCQ,”. “They have good individual players who can play a good game against all players. LCQ have young players, but it will be hard for them because lacking in experience.”

Team Liquid will play in the Playoff Stage and they will not get a chance to play against any NA teams. As the group consists of teams Leviatán, Edward Gaming, and Paper Rex(PRX). ScreaM played his first match against a South American team on August 31, in the second half of the day.

LCQ lost both the maps against Team Leviatan with a score of 2-0. The first map was a haven where Leviatan completely dominated the map and wined the round by 13-10.

The second map was Ascent, Both teams won the rounds equally by 6-6. But Leviatan was successful in stopping the liquid attack and won the map again with a score of 13-10.
