PUBG Mobile World Invitational Day 1 came to an end with thrilling matches. There was a lot expected with this 3-day tournament. The team from across the world is participating in this tournament to be the World Champions. The teams participating on Day 1 are Morph GGG, Box Gaming, Vampire Esports, 4Rivals, DenizBank Wildcats, VIVO KEYD, Aton Esports, 52 Esports, Stalwart Esports, Nigma Galaxy, Virtual Gaming Squad, TJB Esports EU, Back2Back, REGAN.S GAMING, DWG KIA, DONUTS USG, Team SouL, and Team Falcons.

There were 6 maps played on Day 1. PMWI 2022 was kicked off with Erangel, followed by Miramar and Sanhok. The final 3 maps played were Erangel, Miramar and the day ended with Erangel. Teams showed great fights and adaptations against the teams they had never played with.

Map Breakdown

  • The first map of the day Erangel was won by Vampire Esports with 24 elimination points.
  • TJB Esports came victorious in the second map of Miramar.
  • Morph Gaming shut everyone down in the third map winning the Chicken Dinner in Sanhok.
  • Donuts USG from Japan clinched the fourth map Erangel.
  • The fifth map Miramar was won by Falcons Esports.
  • The day ended with Stalwart Esports winning the Chicken Dinner in Map 6 Erangel.

Vampire Esports leads the points table with 86 points, winning 1 chicken dinner with 51 elimination points. In the second position, we have Stalwart Esports with 83 points followed by Team Falcons with 74 points.

In the 9th position, we have RSG with 36 points. Followed by Denizbank Wildcats with 35 points and Nigma Galaxy with 33 points. Position 8-13 looks very close and anything can happen between them on Day 2.

Virtual Gaming Squad and Back2Back had a very rough day sitting at the bottom of the table with 19 points and 13 points respectively.

Day 2 is expected to be a very important day as more teams will come in to prove who they are and we expect a lot of changes in the table at the end of day 2. We will keep you updated with all the action going on.
