Valorant Leaks: New Rewards and System Optimizations: Valorant – Riot Games’ tactical FPS – has united a whole community of gamers. It created a middle ground between games like CS: GO and Overwatch. This made a lot of casual players and pros that were looking for something new switch over to the fast-paced game. As its popularity grows, so does the need to implement greater rewards to incentivize players. Recent Valorant leaks suggest that these bonuses may be introduced in the near future.

The current rewards system in Valorant is fairly simple. Playing matches and completing daily/weekly missions gives you certain amounts of XP. This XP helps you complete the battle pass, unlock agent contract tiers and increase your account level. All other in-game features like playing cards and skins need to be paid for, in accordance with Valorant’s monetization model.

Valorant Changes in the Rewards System:

Fresh news from ValorLeaks, a reputed data miner, indicates that there will be new reward systems implemented soon. This mainly refers to the addition of ‘boxes’. These boxes can be obtain via daily logins and by winning games. A daily login reward system is extremely common in most video games, like Genshin Impact and Apex Legends.

The Valorant leaks also refer to an ‘Act Points’ system, through which you can gain Act Points by opening the ‘boxes’ previously mentioned. Although it isn’t clear what Act Points will be used for yet, it could be a new form of currency in-game. This would provide opportunities for F2P players to obtain a larger range of rewards as well.

Valorant Leaks System and Interface Optimizations:

In addition to a rewards system, Riot is also looking to implement system/interface optimizations. You will have the option to set profile codes for crosshairs – making it much easier to download, upload and switch between different crosshairs. You should also be able to optimize your Inventory by adding favorite and unfavourite skins. Moreover, this will make the interface much easier to navigate – without having to scroll through numerous skin collections you don’t even like.

When will these changes be implement in-game? We don’t know yet. Since there is no official announcement, all leaks are subject to change. However, it’s definitely a step in the right direction for game development in Valorant.
