What’s New In Dying Light 2 Stay Human?

The new adaptive storyline is the most major change in Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Aiden Caldwell will interact with the various factions in The City throughout the game, and at key points in the plot, he’ll have to select which side to support in order to progress. You’ll notice differences in the surroundings depending on which factions dominate the districts of The City. We witnessed a gameplay demo of a mission set near a reinforced water dam during E3 2019. It had been taken over by a faction, who had converted it into a haven. Despite the fact that it appeared to be a serene environment, your current mission needed you to break in and confront the leader, putting you in danger.

Choosing to seize control of the dam not only claims the area for your side, it also changes the layout of the terrain. Certain regions of the map will flood if the dam’s water levels are changed, making them inaccessible. On the other hand, other areas will have their water drained. Revealing new places to explore as well as mutated diseased that will spread throughout the city. From the above storyline, we can see that the gameplay offers us much more options than the sequel. Which makes the game more self-oriented. Techland recently tweeted saying that it would take an enormous amount of time to complete the game the whole way through from side quests to the main campaign.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is officially ready to be released on February 4. For more information, Stay tuned and follows us on Instagram @moroesports
