This is the Terracotta Block in Minecraft. It is a decorative Block in Minecraft. Moreover, it has such cool designs that you will fall in love with it. Once you used it properly.

How to Get Terracotta Block In Minecraft?

The crafting of terracotta is really simple. This requires two ways. One is something that requires luck, but once you have that the construction of Terracotta is very east. However, the other one is very time-consuming. But this is a guaranteed way to get Terracotta in Minecraft.

Method-1:

As we described earlier that this method is pretty easy. However, this method for getting Terracotta in Minecraft Requires luck. And that is because, for this method, you need to find a Mesa a.k.a Badlands. This is a biome that is entirely made up of Terracotta. So you can get Terracotta easily here.

Method-2:

However, if you doubt your luck, then don’t worry. Because we have another way of getting Terracotta in Minecraft. But this method is a time-consuming method. This method is clay hunting.

What you have to do is to find clay patches in Minecraft. These can easily be found in lakes and swamps. Then extract them using a shovel. To ease the process, use a shovel with a Silk touch on it. So that when you dig the clay, you get the clay block and not the Clay Balls.

However, if you don’t have a Silk Touch. Then Don’t worry because you can easily craft Clay Blocks using the Crafting Table. Place 4 Clay Balls in the Crafting Table and you will get the Clay Block.

Smelting Clay into Terracotta in Minecraft:

So, now you know that to make Terracotta. You will need either a Mesa Biome or Clay Blocks. However, if you are not lucky and you chose the second method. Then you will need an excessive amount of fuel. Because you will be smelting the Clay into Terracotta in Minecraft.

So to make Terracotta:

Step-1: Place the Clay Blocks in the Furnace.

Step-2: Place the desired fuel type like Coal, Wood, Blaze Rods, etc. In the slot under the Clay blocks.

Step-3: Let the Clays Blocks get smelted and then collect them from the furnace.

If you follow these steps correctly then you should be able to get the Terracotta in Minecraft. Then you can use dyes to create different types of Terracotta blocks in Minecraft. And there is a total of 16 Stained Terracotta blocks according to their color. Just like the 16 types of Wools.

All this we have done so far can give simple terracotta blocks. However, there is another type of Terracotta in Minecraft that has unique features. And that type of Terracotta is called the Glazed Terracotta.

The Terracotta alone can look good. However, there is another type that can elevate the style of your base in just a few moments. It is the Glazed Terracotta. A Glazed Terracotta is a simple stained Terracotta Block that has a design on it.

How to Create a Glazed Terracotta:

To create a Glazed Terracotta in Minecraft, you have to complete the above process of making a stained Terracotta.

Step-1: Place a stained or either a simple Terracotta Block in the Furnace.

Step-2: Now Place any fuel underneath the Inserted Terracotta Block in the Furnace. The fuel can be anything like Coal, Wood, Blaze Rods, etc.

Step-3: Let the Stained Terracotta Block get turned into a Glazed one. Then collect the Glazed one into your inventory.

After all this process, you should have Glazed Terracotta for yourself. You will get a different type of Glazed Terracotta in Minecraft according to your stained one. And different stained Terracotta has different Designs.
