Valorant Hotfix: Valorant released its new patch 3.0 a couple of days ago. Epic released the update In the New Valorant Episode 3 Act I of the new agent KAY/O. While there are other changes in the gameplay as well. Episode 3 Act I Battle Pass is now, here for grinding. Update 3.0 brings not only the new character but a lot of changes for the agents, weapons, competitive, account leveling, and YR1 events continue. Let’s discuss these Valorant patch notes in detail.
Valorant Hotfix Update 3.0 Episode 3 Act I
This update includes all agents’ updates, weapon updates, competitive changes, performance changes, progression balances, and some major bug fixes. We’re not going to cover them all here. Instead, we’re going to give a summary in brief about their important changes.

First, we will cover the nerf/buffs of the agents as stated by Valorant Hotfix in their patch notes 3.0.
All Agents’ Changes in Valorant Hotfix
- Signature abilities now only give a minimum of 1 charge per round (instead of accumulating a charge every round).
- Cooldown Charges are now always temporary
- Visibility returning faster after being flashed.
So, the characters that received a major buff during this patch were – Breach, Cypher, Omen, and Skye. These agents saw a major buff in their abilities while some of these had also some abilities nerfed. Meanwhile, Astra, Brimstone, Sova, Jett, Killjoy, Phoenix, Raze, Reyna, Sage, Viper, and Yoru all saw a nerf in their abilities. Weapon Updates
Most of the weapon updates came as price decreases for the less used weapons. However, there was a significant price increase for Judge. Shorty, Frenzy, Marshal, Bulldog, Bucky, Operator, Ares, Stinger all faced a decrease in price. There are some other changes in Valorant Hotfix which you can get on their official website.
Performance Updates
Riot has had an eternal stability conflict with shifting accuracy in Valorant, and this patch has massive attention on making Shotguns the simplest weapon kind with respectable shifting accuracy. Every SMG, Rifle, and Heavy weapon has had its on-foot accuracy appreciably decreased. Furthermore, now you will have to shoot after stopping since it is more important than before.
Progression Updates
Valorant is celebrating its anniversary by introducing the YR1 event. This is similar to their battle pass but not mandatory. It will only last until the next patch is out. Features like squad boost, account leveling and, a boost for playing more matches during the 3.0 Update.
