Genshin Impact Marionette Core: A plethora of new things have been added in the new update of Genshin Impact 1.6. It includes the limited-time Golden Archipelago event, collecting echoing conches, riding a waverider, etc. We can see new locations, characters, events, and items in the latest update of Genhin Impact.
In Genshin Impact update 1.6 you can now find a new item – Marionette Core. A new boss by the name Maguu Kenki was also added and drops this new item when killed. You can find out here what it is, where to find it, and what it is used for.
What is the Marionette Core in Genshin Impact 1.6?
The Marionette core is a new item that you can find within the game. In the update of Genshin Impact 1.6, the Golden Apple Archipelago was out which brings the item Marionette Core.
The Marionette Core is a character ascension material and you can find it from the Maguu Kenki. It is the core material of this boss. After killing him you can gain it but the battle isn’t quite easy. Since it is a 4-star rarity we doubt that it will be easily available soon with other bosses.
According to the description in-game, it says, “This core can power the inorganic Maguu Kenki and cause it to wield a blade like a living being.
Flesh decays, and with it decay all martial arts mastery and all poignant memories.
Perhaps only by converting one’s four limbs and body into sturdy mechanical parts, and by at last sacrificing one’s very own heart for a sophisticated mechanical one, can one transcend the impermanence of the fleshly form…”

So, wherein the Genshin Impact map is the Marionette Core?
You can find the Maguu Kenki boss between the two Isles – Broken and Twinning Isle. Generally, he spawns over there. So, once you’ve defeated Maguu Kenki he drops the Marionette Core.
As of now, we do not know any other boss or enemy for this item. It is an epic item and might only last until the event of the Golden Archipelago.

What is the Marionette Core used for?
The Marionette Core as of now does not serve any definite purpose in-game. But, a lot of the leaks suggest that you will be able to use it for the ascension of Kazuha. However, it is pretty obvious that you’ll need a lot of these ascension materials in order to get Kazuha to a usable level.
Our advice is to farm as many of these cores as you can. Since, it is a limited-time event, try to make the most out of it.
