Epic Games Fortnite has received a new Sea Shanty Emote. This emote comes in the squad mode all-singing Nathan Evans’ Sea Shanty together. Fortnite receiving Sea Shanty emote means that the much viral meme on the emote is dead now. It is adding brands to its gameplay which appears to take over the world in the terms of popularity.
Sea Shanty Emote is the last addition to the ongoing season of Fortnite. Nathan Evans from Scotland has vocalized sea shanties on the TikTok platform since summer 2021. In addition to this, #ShantyTok is trending a lot these days.
Fortnite Sea Shanty: Wellerman Parody
Viewing the popularity of Nathan Evans’ Sea Shanty, Fortnite receives the same emote. Fortnite has received it in the squad mode. However, Epic Games has given a twist to this new creation. Fortnite has used the “Wellerman” tune in its lyrics. All the squad members have to use the emote at a similar time. Along with this they also need to sing it with uniformity.
Fortnite’s Twitter post on receiving Sea Shanty emote states “One day when the squaddin’ is done, We’ll take our dub and go”. Gather round the Item Shop and grab the Shanty Emote inspired by @NathanEvanss and #ShantyTok!”
Players can receive this emote from Fortnite in-game shop. A video is also available on Twitter. In the video, the squadrons first join together. After this, they sing the Fortnite-based lyrics on the Wellerman tune.
Although, if we talk about how the players react to this addition, then the Sea Shanty emote is receiving mixed responses from the audience. Some players are enjoying the new emote. Whereas others are reporting it funny and saying that it is not up to the mark.
